Frustrana Cup
This year’s Frustrana Cup was table tennis (ping-pong). The venue is H?M, http://www.homcharleston.com/, just a short distance from the host hotel. And most important: it is happy hour! The back room will be reserved with tables for the group. As usual, the Cup will be a double elimination doubles tournament with random team assignments. No experience required.
Frontalis Cup
The Frontalis Cup golf outing was contested at the Wild Dunes Links Course in Isle of Palms on Thursday, July 24. Tee times were scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm. The Links Course (http://www.wilddunes.com/south-carolina-links-course.php) is an outstanding venue: very scenic, well prepared, and a good test of golf. The course is about a 0.5 hr drive from the Francis Marion, and transportation was provided from the hotel. The Frontalis Cup will feature a new format this year. In addition to the individual champion, we will have a 2-player team champion.
