Southern Pine Beetle Control - September 2002

The following letter was sent to the Chief of the US Forest Service because of the delays in prompt salvage cuts of southern pine beetle killed timber. These delays usually resulted in more timber being killed.

Forest Health in the Forestry Curriculum - October 2003

The Southern Forest Insect Work Conference strongly recommends that the curriculum include rigorous courses in both entomology and pathology for students in forest biology, ecology, management and urban forestry
